On 3-7-07, Donny Baggett from Keller, Texas and Gerald Cook from Gun Barrell City, Texas caught this 28.2 lb Blue Catfish on a trotline baited with goldfish and shrimp.

On 3-26-10, Wayne Cook of Haslet, Texas and John Welch of Killeen, Texas caught a 28 lb and 20 lb Yellow Catfish on a trotline. Wayne holds the lake record for Blue Catfish at 29.45 lbs.
On 4-11-10, Donny and Kelly Jester from Mansfield, Texas landed a 42 lb Flathead Catfish on a jug line baited with shad.
On 3-25-10, Jerry and his grandkids from Minnesota caught two nice Blue Catfish on a jug line. The largest weighed 14 lbs.
On 4-18-10, Perry & Mike from Corsicana, Texas landed a 18.50 lb on a jug line baited with shad.
