Navarro Mills Lake Weekly Fishing Report

DATE:   7-29-10
WATER TEMPERATURE:  88-91 degrees
WATER LEVEL:  .21 feet below normal
WATER VISIBILITY:  10-12 inches
GATES:  Closed

CRAPPIE - GOOD
Crappie fishing is good on minnows at Crappie Point.  Several keepers were caught Thursday
from 12pm to 9pm with the usual number of throwbacks, see photo on Catch of the Day.  Jig
fishing is slow.       

CATFISH - VERY GOOD
Channel Catfish and Blue Catfish up to 37 lbs are good on jug lines baited with perch (see photo
on Catch of the Day).  Yellow catfish are slow.      

SAND BASS - GOOD
Sand bass are schooling and are good on Silver Dollar Lures.    

BLACK BASS - GOOD
Black bass are good along the dam in the mornings on crankbaits and worms.
