Navarro Mills Lake - Updated 10/04/08
Water Temperature 80 degrees, Water Clarity is Stained

CRAPPIE - FAIR/GOOD
Lots of Crappie are being caught from the fishing docks but they have been too
small to keep. The boat fishermen have done better this weekend and report
that the bigger Crappie have moved into 15-17 feet of water.

CATFISH - FAIR/GOOD
Several 1.5-3 lb catfish are being caught with shrimp and chicken liver.

LARGEMOUTH BLACK BASS - FAIR
Largemouth Bass were active again this weekend but some were less than
12 inches in length. We caught a picture of a 3.82 lb bass before it was
released, see photo in Catch of the Day.

SAND BASS - GOOD
Trolling for sand bass is still good in 10-12' water. Some of the sand bass
have measured 14-15 inches in length.
